Oscillating between abstraction and figuration, the understated works of Andreas Eriksson shift between paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and sculptures. Heavily influenced by his immediate locality, Eriksson lives in a forested bank of Lake Vänern, Sweden, with remnants and markers of this landscape populating his oeuvre. Organic forms such as leaves, stars and mountains reappear, abstracted, collaged, and often fragmented.
