Haena Yoo creates immersive installations using found objects, video, sound, and scent to explore themes of labor, identity, and global capitalism. Her work examines notions of well-being through the lens of circular economies, revealing tensions between dependence, interdependence, and limited resources. Incorporating materials from marginalized cultures, the artist constructs visual environments that reflect the friction between personal desire and systemic control within a globalized world.
