Whether her depictions are linear or painterly, in an academic manner or abstract, delicate or energetic and the contours vague or sharp - Isabelle Fein adapts the techniques and design means to the object she is depicting - apart from a certain thoughtfulness that is consistently calm to the point of being The figures appear withdrawn or dreamy, and their choice of motifs is not subject to any schematic guidelines. This special attitude also comes into play in her unpretentious handling of her image carriers and her small-format ceramic objects, which she has been producing regularly since 2013 and which look like three-dimensional subjects from her artistic works, and which forms a recognition feature for the artist's works. We are showing new paintings and ceramics in our upcoming exhibitions and look forward to your coming. ...
