Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract artwork features a vibrant, colorful landscape composition. The canvas is dominated by bold, expressive strokes of blue, yellow, and red, creating a sense of movement and energy. In the center, a stylized, rock-like form emerges, surrounded by geometric patterns and abstract shapes that suggest a fantastical, dreamlike setting. The artist's distinctive style and use of mixed media techniques, including drawing and painting, contribute to the work's playful and imaginative nature. This piece likely reflects the artist's personal interpretation of the natural world and their unique creative vision. ...

Artist
Jean-Michel Sanejouand
B.1934, French

Jean-Michel Sanejouand (1934-2021) was born in Lyon and lived and worked in the Anjour region. Hailing from the heart of the 60’s art scene, the work of Jean-Michel Sanejouand continues to resist any traditional type of classification, all the while maintaining a certain radicalness in its questioning of accepted forms and processes. Beyond the pure expression of formal liberty, Jean-Michel Sanejouand chose to exploit the very ruptures which result from contrasting various artistic elements. His ingeniousness has been recognised by a number of French and international institutions, including the Centre Georges Pompidou, which presented an important retrospective of his work in 1995. ...

Paris

To avoid any narcissism the gallery will not bear a name, but instead mark of the end of a century during which the Fine Arts are exhausted of unknown practices and forms, Art: Concept was born. In 1997, the gallery joined its friends in the 13th district of Paris to be part of the adventure of the brand new rue Louise Weiss. Despite unforgettable years in this district, the move to the Marais was inevitable. Today, the gallery is located in a private passage (passage Sainte Avoye) and represents artists with whom it has been working for 25 years as well as young graduates. Trying to reflect the evolution of society, the gallery emphasises its proposals in a multi-faceted reflection on individuality and collectivity in a wide range of contexts. Like Janus, it looks both to the past and the future. Today's world is so in need of reference points that it's reassuring to invent a future, thanks to artists, as well as to compare it to the past. We invite you to ask for it, we will be at the gallery, very happy to explain it to you. ...
