Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract artwork features a striking composition of geometric shapes and patterns in a muted color palette of gray, blue, and gold. The central focus is a large golden circle or halo-like element that dominates the canvas, surrounded by intricate and interconnected shapes reminiscent of organic forms like flowers or celestial bodies. The overall effect is one of balance and harmony, with the artist skillfully juxtaposing the rigid, angular shapes with more fluid, organic motifs. This piece likely draws inspiration from themes of spirituality, nature, and the cosmos, reflecting the artist's unique visual language and exploration of the interplay between the material and the transcendental. ...

1974 , Chile

Chilean-born, New York-based artist Johanna Unzeuta intertwines components from Chilean craft practices, natural tinting, and repetitive mechanised movement. Unzueta’s creative output addresses the historical, technological, and social effects of labour on the nature of the human condition, as well as its interaction with nature. Employing techniques drawn from Latin American Indigenous craft practices, the paper that serves as the surface for her drawings is tinted by hand using natural dyes associated with the aforementioned practices.
