Wood and varnishLc Queisser
Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This artwork features a striking black and white composition on a wooden surface. The dominant visual element is the intricate, organic shape that appears to be a stylized fish or marine creature, carved or etched into the dark, textured wood. The overall design is minimalistic, with the shape occupying the central focus and the surrounding wooden grain providing a natural, earthy backdrop. The artist's technique showcases their skill in creating a captivating, monochromatic image that evokes a sense of simplicity and natural forms. This work likely draws inspiration from the artist's fascination with the natural world and the beauty found in its structures and patterns. ...

Keto Logua

The body of work of Keto Logua is diverse: some objects are made of wood, pewter, and steel, others of aluminide, iron, and prints on satin or aluminum. Strongly inspired by the multiplicity and ambiguity of the botanical world, from the floral petals to their sexes, Logua collaborates with botanists, scientists, and architects to depict the flowers' built-in crosscuts and symbols. In search of meaningful fiction, she works through variations and mutations of knowledge, using existing models like 3D and scientific drawings, which she prints, casts, or paints. ...
