Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This contemporary artwork features a visually striking composition. The colors used are primarily green and black-and-white, with the green "Still, The Standard" sign prominently displayed. The background depicts a storefront with a "Heaters on Sale" sign, and the foreground is filled with a pattern of delicate white flowers against a black backdrop. The artwork captures a sense of everyday commercial imagery, yet the arrangement and contrasting elements create an intriguing and thought-provoking piece. The artist's intention may be to explore themes of consumerism, commercialism, and the juxtaposition of the ordinary and the extraordinary. ...

In Lorenza Longhi’s practice, visual elements taken from communication strategies and objects that have a specific role within contemporary life are reproduced and mixed together, using crafty techniques as a way to empirically test their primary forms and push them to a point where they lose their polite functionality. In this body of works the artist combines a series of signifiers borrowed from advertisements, magazine pages, packaging and garments materials. In this process of appropriation and contamination the idea of a Standard, usually conceived both as a serialized system and a parameter that sets the goals by which the products and their performance are judged, becomes a space to be claimed and hacked: a set of rules to renegotiate so that within repetition differences can emerge. ...
