1984 , BritishPatrick Goddard primarily creates video, sculpture and installation as well as working with photography, painting and drawing. His politically loaded and narrative based works undermine themselves with a self-defeating black comedy as they chart the artist’s fumbled attempts to create a personal and political integrity. Works focus on a range of topics: from ecology, the Anthropocene and the animal; to race politics, gentrification, and urbanization.
