Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a striking visual composition with bold colors and striking contrasts. The central focus is a large, red, bird-like shape that appears to be emerging from a frame against a vibrant green background. In the foreground, a small blue figure is depicted in a dramatic, upward-reaching pose, evoking a sense of energy and movement. The artist employs a mix of photographic and graphic techniques, creating an otherworldly, surreal atmosphere that challenges the viewer's perception. The work seems to explore themes of power, transformation, and the relationship between the human and the natural world. ...

B.1997, French

Through this combination of new and old technologies, the artist portrays characters that look like computer-generated avatars, perhaps representations of real people rendered through the digital. Hybridity is a notion reflected both in the figures’ reluctance to be categorised as either human or animal, as well as in the undoing of the binary between life and death. The figures appear to be in limbo, a purgatory of sorts, occupying a flattened, liminal space outside of time. Written by Goldsmiths CCA ...
