Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract painting features a predominately golden central panel, suggesting a sun or other celestial body, surrounded by a textured, multi-colored background. The artist has employed a range of techniques, including layering, scraping, and splattering, to create a sense of depth and movement within the composition. While the subject matter is open to interpretation, the work's earthy tones and organic textures evoke a sense of nature and the passage of time. The artist's intention may have been to explore themes of the natural world, the cosmos, or the interplay between light and shadow. ...

Shaan Bevan & Owen Pratt
American (Bevan), British (Pratt)

Shaan Bevan and Owen Pratt collaborate on a multidisciplinary practice that explores the interconnectedness of the human body, natural systems, and sensory experience. Their work investigates themes of illness, healing, and transformation, reflecting both personal and collective encounters with the body and environment. Bevan contributes intricate drawings and installations that examine the fragility, resilience, and materiality of the body, often drawing parallels between human anatomy and natural or geological processes. Pratt complements this with immersive sound installations, crafting resonant auditory experiences that respond to space, memory, and environmental context. Together, their practice blurs the boundaries between the organic and inorganic, the living and non-living. By integrating visual and auditory elements, they create immersive environments that encourage viewers to contemplate the relationships between body, landscape, and perception, highlighting the interconnectedness of life and the transformations inherent in both human and ecological systems. ...
