Shaan Bevan and Owen Pratt collaborate on a multidisciplinary practice that explores the interconnectedness of the human body, natural systems, and sensory experience. Their work investigates themes of illness, healing, and transformation, reflecting both personal and collective encounters with the body and environment. Bevan contributes intricate drawings and installations that examine the fragility, resilience, and materiality of the body, often drawing parallels between human anatomy and natural or geological processes. Pratt complements this with immersive sound installations, crafting resonant auditory experiences that respond to space, memory, and environmental context. Together, their practice blurs the boundaries between the organic and inorganic, the living and non-living. By integrating visual and auditory elements, they create immersive environments that encourage viewers to contemplate the relationships between body, landscape, and perception, highlighting the interconnectedness of life and the transformations inherent in both human and ecological systems. ...
