B.1966

Born in Calcutta, India in 1966, artist, designer, and fashion illustrator Tanya Ling's worldview was shaped by extensive travels as a child with her family across North America, Africa, and Europe. These voyages were subsequently chronicled through poetic drawings that allowed her to foster a sense of home from anywhere. Later, Ling developed a career as a designer in the Parisian fashion industry, and following a commission by British Vogue, gained recognition for signature illustrations that blend sinuous marks and muscular hues.
