Timothée Calame

Timothée Calame’s work takes many forms, often starting with drawings and writings that give rise to assembled objects, images and even short films. These are usually presented as part of an ensemble, with each project conceived as an installation and a means of taking over the space to narrate experiences and information stored in bits and pieces. Halfway between everyday objects and sculptures, Calame's work is a collection of sculptures in which the prosaic, the political and the poetic are the ingredients of a fictionalisation of reality.
