Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This contemporary artwork features a visually striking abstract composition of vibrant, undulating patterns. The dominant colors are shades of green, with an interplay of lighter and darker hues creating a sense of depth and movement. The overall design is characterized by a distinctive dot-like or mosaic-like texture, suggesting a digital or pixelated aesthetic. The subject matter is ambiguous, though the fragmented, organic forms evoke a sense of natural elements or plant-like structures. The artist's technique appears to leverage digital manipulation or printing processes to achieve this visually captivating, almost kaleidoscopic effect. The artwork likely explores themes of technology, nature, and the blending of the digital and the organic realms. ...

Zak Kitnick’s sculptures and installations engage with questions about the relationship between art and everyday life. Exploring the conceptual parallels and differences between decor, utility and fine art, he creates objects characterised by geometric shapes, familiar objects and materials, such as plywood, posters and metal shelving, and references to methodologies and systems. The latter is manifested in the recurring references, both visual and conceptual, to the Bagua, a Chinese cosmological grid that represents and organises reality through the study of feng shui. Kitnick is fascinated by the ways human life and understanding relies on structures and systems and the ways those systems can produce omissions, like lack of appreciation of the objects we encounter every day. Drawing the audience’s attention to those, Kitnick’s work is a poignant investigation of value and materiality. Written by Goldsmiths CCA ...
