CheeseTalk

Yuqian Sun or CheeseTalk is an AI artist and researcher. Working with digital illustrations, motion graphics and other forms of 3D rendering, Sun is particularly interested in the formation of AI narratives. Many of her projects develop out of periods of interaction with chatbots, testing out the boundaries of their personas and stories. Specifically in gaming environments, she’s curious how particular stories might influence player’s engagement with AI agents. Building on this research, she creates “live narrative experiences” that can take place outside the context of gaming and within our daily lives, such as chatbots and expanded art projects. The thematics that CheeseTalk has covered in these projects are extremely broad, looking at the relationship between nature and technology, architectural movements, art history and the dynamics between violence and gender.
