Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a striking green eye at the center, surrounded by a series of abstract shapes and lines that evoke a sense of surrealism. The predominant use of vibrant green against the dark background creates a striking visual contrast, drawing the viewer's attention to the central eye motif. The composition appears to be created through a technique that resembles chalk or pastel, lending a sense of movement and spontaneity to the piece. The symbolic and dreamlike nature of the artwork suggests that the artist may have aimed to explore themes of perception, consciousness, or the subconscious. ...

Artist
Eduardo Navarro
B.1969, Argentinian

Eduardo Navarro creates performances, sculptures, durational and participatory works exploring empathy, senses and contemplation. One can say that human physical senses are the artist’s medium in themselves, which guide and direct his work. In one performance (Polenphonia, 2018), seven flautists wore masks, designed by the artists to induce the sense of smell, and improvising, while wandering through the Jardín Botánico. In another performance (Octopia, 2016), a large group of people animated a massive mechanical octopus. In yet another work, Navarro occupied and repurposed buildings for communities, such as Mormons or former prisoners. Impossible to classify, Navarro’s creative practice is a storm of ideas and ephemeral emotion. Alongside his non-representation works, the artist produces drawings which allow him “relocate the studio to inside [his]own head”. Just like his performative practice, Navarro’s works on paper are whimsical, mysterious, immersive and land beyond explanation. ...
