Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili (born in 1979 in Tbilisi) is a Georgian-American photographer living in Berlin. She studied at Bard College, Annandale, NY under Stephen Shore, An My Lee and Barbara Ess. Her work stands at the confluence of digital and analog photography. Images she makes are straight snapshots or intricately staged photographs, which then undergo a process of altering by hand or digital means, or a mix of both.
