Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract artwork features a bold, checkerboard pattern of black and yellow squares, creating a striking visual contrast. The composition is dominated by an amorphous, textured shape in the center, with frayed, thread-like elements extending outwards, adding a sense of movement and energy to the piece. The artist appears to have employed a technique that combines weaving, painting, and mixed media to produce this visually compelling work. The overall effect is one of vibrancy and dynamism, perhaps reflecting the artist's intention to explore themes of duality, chaos, and the interplay between order and disorder. ...

Laura Põld
B.1984, Estonian

Laura Põld is an Estonian artist whose practice combines interdisciplinary and traditional craft skills with sculpture-based mediums. Through these lenses, she examines posthuman and more-than-human ways of being, caring, community building, and sheltering. She creates large-scale assemblages, constructions and installations from these sources, which playfully disrupt and subvert the typical understanding of art venues.
