Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a captivating blend of soft, muted tones and textural elements. The dominant colors are shades of gray, creating a moody and atmospheric composition. The overall shape is a square, with a central focal point that appears to be a indistinct, abstract form. The artwork employs a technique that incorporates layers of blended and brushed materials, evoking a sense of depth and movement within the frame. The piece suggests a meditative or introspective quality, inviting the viewer to contemplate the interplay of light, shadow, and the ethereal nature of the subject matter. ...

Maria Szakats
B.1984, Austrian

Born in Romania in 1984, Maria Szakats is an Austrian artist who graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and now lives and works in Paris. Working mainly with textiles and using a wide range of techniques, she produces works combining textiles and installation, and attempts to create a tension between craft, image and material. After fifteen years' experience as a stylist in the fashion industry, Maria Szakats decided in 2021 to refocus her work on purely artistic considerations, developing a practice that questions notions of value in terms of production time, value, use and material. ...

GALERIE CHLOE SALGADO
Paris

Inaugurated in October 2018, GALERIE CHLOE SALGADO is a contemporary art gallery in Paris representing emerging international artists. Working hand in hand with the artists, the gallery aims to break with the notion of a gallery as an elitist space proposing instead a place of support, discovery and sharing, while also encouraging new generations of collectors and art enthusiasts.
