Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This mixed media work features a striking composition of bold geometric shapes in vibrant colors. The central element is a vintage record label depicting a cabin scene, surrounded by collaged text fragments in German that appear to discuss various social and political issues. The overall aesthetic combines elements of abstract expressionism, pop art, and dada, with the layered, textured surface reflecting a sense of social commentary and political engagement. The artist's intention seems to be exploring themes of societal division and civil unrest through an unconventional, visually compelling artistic approach. ...

Artist
Fernando Bryce
1965 , Peruvian

Fernando Bryce (born in 1965 in Lima) attended university in both Lima and Paris and lived for many years in Berlin. His drawings systematically re-examine the ways in which historical events are represented in print media. The process, which Bryce describes as “mimetic analysis” involves selecting archives for print materials such as advertisements, newspaper articles, and propaganda brochures to faithfully reproduce a selection of these materials, creating his own “reconstructions.”
