Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This immersive installation features a striking juxtaposition of stark black and softly hued green elements. The composition is dominated by a large, monochromatic curtain that creates a sense of depth and invites the viewer to explore further. The curtain's billowing forms and the integration of organic, plant-like shapes suggest a dreamlike, almost surreal atmosphere. The artist's choice of materials and the interplay of light and shadow evoke a contemplative, almost meditative quality, inviting the viewer to pause and engage with the work on a deeper level. The artwork's captivating visual language and its ability to create a immersive, atmospheric experience suggest the artist's intention to explore themes of nature, perception, and the interplay between the physical and the ephemeral. ...

Laëtitia Badaut Haussmann
B.1980, French

Laëtitia Badaut Haussmann’s artistic works revolve around the notion of para-architecture. Her research is situated at the intersection of several fields including domesticity, psychology and feminism. Her practice is centred around the concept of design and its history as a social and political expression. She works with installation, sculpture and performance, as well as with photography and graphic design. The references and the materials she uses testify to her propensity for a modernist aesthetic, without this ever becoming the subject of her work. Supported by a reflection on narrative forms, the relationship between analogies and macrostructures, her work functions as a succession of apparitions and reminiscences. Through it, she tackles questions essential to our epoch, in order to encourage emancipation and the appearance of new ways of thinking. ...
