Working mainly with photographic documents from albums, archives or photographs that she recreates, the artist draws elements, fragments and details from the everyday and the banal, objects that both disturb and fascinate her. While the meaning of the objects in Blanc's paintings is often blurred, the subjects elude us and are placed at a distance.
