Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a circular white plaque with the number "1.94" displayed prominently in the center. The plaque has a subtle pink speckled pattern, adding a soft, pastel-like quality to the otherwise minimalist design. The clean geometric shape and muted color palette suggest a modern, minimalist aesthetic. The simplicity of the piece invites viewers to consider the significance of the numerical text and the potential conceptual layers underlying this seemingly straightforward visual statement. The artist's intention behind this work may be to prompt reflections on the nature of time, measurement, or the broader significance of numerical representations in contemporary culture. ...

Artist
Na Kim

The artist and designer Na Kim explores the intricate interplay between given structures and serendipitous discoveries. She meticulously collects objects and occurrences from daily life, subsequently rearranging them within fictional frameworks. The ‘found fiction’ of an archive is a central aspect of Kim’s process: the shifting or swapping of meaning that occurs when an object is removed from its original context. If details of an object’s former life are lost or forgotten, then fiction arrives to fill the gaps. In Na Kim’s works, language is both doing and undoing, attaching and detaching. Meanings stick and become unstuck. ...
