Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features an abstract composition of white, delicate lines against a soft blue background. The overall visual effect evokes a sense of lightness and ethereality, with the interlacing lines creating a dynamic, almost fragile pattern. The subject matter appears to be a study of organic forms and natural phenomena, perhaps inspired by the movement of plants or the intricate structures found in nature. The artist has employed a minimalist, gestural style, utilizing the contrast between the bold white lines and the muted blue backdrop to emphasize the graceful, ephemeral quality of the shapes. This work likely reflects the artist's exploration of themes related to the fleeting beauty and transience found in the natural world. ...

Artist
Suyeon Kim
B.1986, South Korean

Throughout her career, Suyeon Kim has continued to explore the notion of weather, with a particular interest in the relationship between data and tooltips to form carefully calculated compositions on a picture plane. She sees weather as a manifestation of power, metaphorising personal experiences and emotions into mediated objects. Kim’s paintings integrate data accumulated over time and movement. The artist observes the movement of the tool from the xy-axis plane and discerns the change in force from the z-axis by evaluating the bluntness or sharpness of the marks, then conscientiously traces and studies the modes of painting according to the tools. ...
