Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork presents an intriguing technological hybrid, combining elements of an owl and a drone. The composition features a striking contrast between the organic, warm-toned feather patterns and the sleek, mechanical white structure of the drone. The use of multiple propellers and cameras suggests a sense of surveillance and technological prowess. Domínguez creates disparate assemblages that incorporate talismanic, culturally-specific objects, collected and recycled, with the synthetic detritus of neoliberalism, extractivist and finance; business shirts, electronics, and even the LED screens upon which the artist’s video works are shown. ...
