Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This abstract artwork features a vibrant, textured composition. The central focus is a small, intricate honeycomb-like structure, with shades of green, red, and gold interspersed within the irregularly shaped cells. The overall aesthetic creates a sense of depth and movement, inviting the viewer to explore the nuanced interplay of color and form. The artist's distinctive technique, which combines sculptural elements with a painterly approach, suggests a conceptual exploration of the natural world and its inherent structures. This piece likely reflects the artist's intention to challenge conventional perceptions and inspire contemplation of the underlying patterns that shape our environment. ...

The revolution will not be televised
Artist
Rafael D'Aló
, Brazilian

Rafael D'Aló's artistic practice is centered around the act of investigation. Through sculpture, painting, and installation, he assembles fragments of found objects in order to create narratives and establish novel connections between fact and fiction, often with a playful nod towards deconstructing established myths. D'Aló achieves this by bringing together diverse materials, colours, and found images, often sourced from the urban environment, to create a dynamic interplay that speaks to our collective imagination and the rapidly changing world in which we live. He explores the ways in which power struggles and desires are represented through iconography, using the wisdom of the oppressed to subvert dominant narratives through his work. Imbued with a sense of irony and critical engagement with history, each piece builds upon the last, creating a continuous chain of metaphors that connect the past with the present and hint at new possibilities for the future. ...

V.O Curations
London

V.O Curations is an arts organisation dedicated to supporting emerging and underrepresented artists through an innovative and critically-engaged programme. Founded in 2019 by Zina Vieille and Nnamdi Obiekwe, V.O Curations believes that to curate is to approach all aspects of the programme - residencies, exhibitions, events and studio spaces - with care. V.O Curations spans two locations in Mayfair and Tower of London, and currently hosts over 250 artists and thinkers in affordable studios, responding to the changing ways in which they are working and the acute rent increases in the capital. In January 2021, V.O Curations opened its headquarters at 56 Conduit Street, which is the site for its residency and exhibition programme, alongside 70 artist studios. This location in Mayfair reinforces V.O’s commitment to connecting emerging artists to distinctive networks and resources. ...
