Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

The artwork features a striking composition of geometric shapes and bold colors against a dark backdrop. The central element is a futuristic, angular structure in shades of blue, appearing to levitate or defy gravity. Complementing this are abstract, translucent forms that create a sense of movement and energy. The artist's use of dramatic lighting and contrast evokes a surreal, otherworldly atmosphere. The piece seems to explore themes of technology, transformation, and the boundaries between the physical and the conceptual, hinting at the artist's intention to challenge conventional perceptions of reality. ...

Carolina Fusilier (b.1985, Buenos Aires) lives and works in Oaxaca. Through painting, film and installation she explores post-human imaginaries, investigating intersections between organic and mechanical bodies, between industrial and domestic scenarios. Fusilier has appeared in solo and group exhibitions at Jumex Museum in Mexico City, MX; Mendes Wood DM in Sao Paulo, BR; Locust Projects in Miami, USA; Natalia Hug Gallery in Cologne, DE; La Fábrica in Buenos Aires, ARG; The Drawing Center in New York, USA; The Sculpture Center in New York, USA; and Centro Cultural Tlatelolco, Mexico City, MX; among others. Margot Samel
New York City

Margot Samel opened in Tribeca, New York, in May 2022, with a commitment to presenting research-driven exhibitions by international artists at all stages of their careers, often debuting their first shows in New York. Originally from Estonia, Margot Samel worked in galleries, museums, and artist-run spaces in Tallinn, Glasgow, and New York for over a decade before opening her eponymous gallery. The inaugural exhibition featured Estonian multidisciplinary artist Kris Lemsalu (b. 1985, Tallinn), whose complex sculptures, installations, and performances blur the boundaries between life and art, setting the tone for a program that embraces experimentation and collaboration across diverse artistic practices. While placing particular emphasis on contemporary artists from the Baltic region, the gallery also works with contemporary and historical artists from international backgrounds. Margot Samel is dedicated to fostering long-term relationships with both emerging and established artists, while collaborating with other galleries to support ambitious exhibitions. ...
