Description
Human-crafted. AI-refined.

This minimalist contemporary art installation features a long, ethereal hallway bathed in soft, violet-hued lighting. Rows of shelves lining the walls display an array of unidentifiable white objects, imbuing the space with a serene, contemplative atmosphere. The clean, geometric lines and stark, monochromatic color palette suggest a focus on form, texture, and the interplay of light and shadow. Steve Bishop
B.1983, Canadian

Experiencing his installations produces an eerie feeling of entering into domestic settings but finding their inhabitants missing. Bishop’s video works feature touching amateur and found footage, like karaoke performances and cover songs. His works, to put it in the artist’s words, are “containers for something”, that “something” being evermore personal. Thus, the artist’s objectively everyday representations carry a subjective substance of serenity of human existence and cosiness of a regular life. ...
