Artist
Marina Gadonneix

Marina Gadonneix was awarded the prestigious Niépce Gens d’images prize in 2020. Her work documents the places of scientific research where meteorological and astrophysical phenomena are analyzed, predicted, and recreated. As such, Marina Gadonneix's near-abstract images depict a reality that has not yet come into being. Her photography straddles the border between documentary and fiction. In 2023, Gadonneix exhibited alongside Lynne Cohen at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Today, her work is shown internationally and features in several major French museum collections.
